Taisiya-Oksana Shchuruk was born as Taisiya-Oksana Vitaliivna Shchuruk on November 20, 1998, in Kyiv, Ukraine. Growing up in the Ukrainian capital, she developed a passion for the performing arts early on, eventually training at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University.
She first gained widespread recognition for her role in the popular scripted reality series Kyiv Day and Night, but her true breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed teen drama series Early Swallows (Pershi lastivky), where she portrayed Katia Shchaslyva. Known for her versatility, Shchuruk has successfully transitioned into the horror and thriller genres, most notably starring as Anya in the 2024 mystical horror film Morena. Beyond her acting talent, she is a polyglot, fluent in Ukrainian, English, Russian, Polish, and Spanish, and is also skilled in contemporary dance and various sports.
