Sandra Ceccarelli, born on July 3, 1967, is an Italian film actress who debuted at age 16 in Giuseppe Bertolucci's 'Segreti segreti' (1985). She studied acting with Carlos Alsina and Giorgio Albertazzi between 1995 and 1997. After several years in theatre, she returned to films in 2001, winning the Volpi Cup for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival for her role in 'Light of My Eyes'. She has starred in various films including 'The Profession of Arms', 'Klimt', and 'Libertas'.
