Full Biography
Nathalie Merchant was born to a Romanian mother and Panamanian/Jamaican father, moving to Sweden at age 4.5 with her family. After relocating to Panama for a year, she returned to Sweden, then attended an American school before switching back to Swedish, ultimately graduating from an international high school. She studied in Italy during an exchange program after her first year of high school. Post-high school, Merchant enrolled at S.E.T Elementary Theatre School and later moved to Los Angeles to attend the Stella Adler Academy of Acting for 6.5 years before returning home to Sweden by the end of 2012.
