Lumi Cavazos, born December 21, 1968 in Monterrey, Mexico, began her acting career at age 15. She debuted in 'El Secreto de Romalia' (1988) and rose to international fame for her role as Tita in the Mexican film 'Como agua para chocolate' (1992).
