Full Biography
Born as Kristin Landen Davis on February 23, 1965, in Boulder, Colorado, the American actress is most famous for her portrayal of the optimistic Charlotte York Goldenblatt on the HBO hit series Sex and the City. After her parents divorced when she was an infant, she was adopted by her stepfather and eventually moved to South Carolina. She pursued her passion for performing at Rutgers University, graduating with a BFA in acting in 1987 before moving to New York to start her career. Beyond her iconic role in the Sex and the City franchise and its sequel And Just Like That..., Davis has also appeared in series like Melrose Place and various films, while dedicating much of her time to wildlife conservation and global philanthropy.
