Full Biography
Born on March 5, 1976, in Paterson, New Jersey, Jovanna Vitiello is an American actress and model of Italian and Puerto Rican descent. She discovered her passion for performing at the Rosa Parks High School of Fine and Performing Arts, where she notably starred as Rizzo in a production of Grease. Despite surviving a severe car accident during her senior year that required reconstructive surgery, she persevered to graduate in 1994. After briefly studying Public Relations at Berkeley Business College, she chose to pursue entertainment full-time.
Her professional journey gained momentum when she began modeling, famously appearing in Playboy publications starting at the age of 20. Her credits with the magazine include features in Playboy's Book of Lingerie (1997, 1998) and Playboy's Girls of Summer (2001). This exposure coincided with her transition into acting; after appearing as an extra in Woody Allen’s Deconstructing Harry (1997), she earned her Screen Actors Guild membership and moved to Hollywood. Throughout her career, she has worked with prominent directors like Joel Schumacher and Ron Howard, appearing in films such as 8mm (1999), Seven Pounds (2008), and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008). Today, she continues to reside in Southern California.
