Emily Lau is a German actress of Iranian descent, born in Berlin, Germany, in 1997. She is primarily known for her starring role in the 2018 film Yung, directed by Henning Gronkowski, which provided a raw and authentic look into the lives of four young girls in Berlin's vibrant and sometimes hedonistic subculture. Lau speaks German as her mother tongue and is also fluent in English, with basic knowledge of French and Persian (Farsi). Her other credits include an appearance in the 2007 film The Pye-Dog. Lau is based in Berlin and continues her work as an actor.
