Carol Drinkwater, born on April 22, 1948, is an Anglo-Irish actress, author, and filmmaker. She gained prominence for her role as Helen Herriot in 'All Creatures Great and Small', earning a Variety Club Television Personality of the Year award in 1985. Drinkwater has appeared in numerous films and TV series, including Stanley Kubrick's 'A Clockwork Orange' (1971). She is the daughter of bandleader Peter Regan and Irish nurse Phyllis McCormack. Drinkwater has written children's books, adult memoirs, and epic novels, with her works translated into multiple languages.
