Born as Anna Andreevna Slyusaryova on March 25, 1980, in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR, Anna Slyu is a prominent Russian actress recognized for her versatile performances across film and television. She first gained widespread international attention for her role as Katya in the hit urban fantasy films Night Watch (2004) and its sequel Day Watch (2006).
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a remarkable range, transitioning from high-profile blockbusters to acclaimed independent cinema. In 2018, she received significant critical praise and the Best Actress award at the Kinotavr Film Festival for her role in the drama Jumpman (Podbrosy). Her recent television work includes a leading role as Dr. Marina Lavrova in the dystopian series Vyzhivshie (Survivors), where she portrays a key survivor navigating a world plagued by a mysterious sleeping sickness.
