Full Biography

Born in 1967 in Poland, Agnieszka Buczek (sometimes credited under the name Agnieszka Bryczek) is a Polish actress and singer known for her contributions to Polish cinema and theater during the 1990s.

Buczek gained significant recognition for her role as "Dziewczyna w czapce" (The Girl in a Cap) in Marek Koterski's cult comedy-drama Nic śmiesznego (Nothing Funny, 1995), where she shared the screen with prominent Polish actors such as Cezary Pazura. Her filmography during this period includes roles in notable productions such as the drama Agnieszka (1992), the action-thriller Gracze (The Players, 1995), and Andrzej Wajda’s Holy Week (Wielki tydzień, 1995).

Beyond her film work, Buczek has maintained a presence in the Polish performing arts scene. She graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre (now the AST National Academy of Theatre Arts) in Krakow and has performed at various venues, including the Musical Theatre in Gdynia and the Teatr Komedia in Warsaw. Her dual talents as an actress and vocalist have allowed her to participate in both dramatic and musical theater productions across Poland.
