Élodie Fontan was born on July 9, 1987, and began her career early with French commercials for Nissan, Quick, and Euro Disney. She gained prominence playing Alyzée in the Clem series (2009) on TF1. Fontan also appeared in Serial (Bad) Weddings (2014). She is part of the comedy troupe La Bande à Fifi alongside Philippe Lacheau among others. In 2018, she joined Les Enfoirés and started a relationship with Philippe Lacheau.
