She is the daughter of actors Gérard and Élisabeth Depardieu, and sister to the late Guillaume Depardieu. Julie has two sons with her partner, musician Philippe Katerine. She won three César Awards: Best Supporting Actress twice (2004's 'La petite Lili', 2008's 'Un secret') and Best Young Actress (2004).
