Story
Mike Gaucher (Jean-Paul Belmondo), a luckless stuntman, continually finds himself in comedic misfortunes. After his latest disaster at a supermarket promotion, he's left jobless and penniless. Meanwhile, actor Bruno Ferrari arrives with the reputation of being fearless but is actually terrified of heights. When Ferrari is cast for a role requiring dangerous stunts, Mike, who happens to be his double, steps in to save face. Disguised as Ferrari, Mike performs the stunts perfectly, gaining recognition and admiration from Ferrari's fiancée, causing jealousy between them.
