Story
A disgruntled summer-stock actor contemptuously disregards the superstition surrounding Shakespeare's tragedy, Macbeth and, by doing so, unleashes the curse of 'The Scottish Play' and wreaks havoc on the company.
Summary
Disgruntled actor Tom scoffs at theatre's age-old superstition surrounding "Macbeth", performing its name aloud during rehearsals. His contemptuous disregard summons an eerie presence, stirring chaos within their summer-stock company. Soon, accidents plague them - props malfunction, accidents mar performances, and fellow actors inexplicably turn against each other. Tom's dismissal of the curse as mere nonsense grows flimsy as the once-harmonious troupe crumbles around him, leaving him to grapple with whether he's orchestrated their demise or if something truly sinister is afoot.
