Story
Fair Play follows a young couple, Lucy (Phoebe Dynevor) and Jack (Alden Ehrenreich), who are engaged to be married. When Lucy receives an unexpected promotion at their cutthroat hedge fund, she begins to rise through the ranks while Jack remains stagnant. This power imbalance strains their relationship as jealousy and egocentrism threaten to tear them apart. As they navigate the treacherous waters of corporate ladder-climbing and illicit workplace romance, their engagement party becomes a powder keg of secrets and rivalries that could explode at any moment.
Summary
Fair Play is Chloe Domont's psychological thriller that combines elements of drama, romance, and suspense. Set in the high-stakes world of finance, it explores the complex dynamics of power, jealousy, and love within a relationship. With Phoebe Dynevor (of 'Bridgerton' fame) and Alden Ehrenreich ('Solo: A Star Wars Story') in lead roles, the film offers a fresh take on the erotic thriller genre reminiscent of 1990s classics. As a woman director tackling male egos and workplace rivalries, Domont brings a unique perspective to this tale of ambition gone awry.
