Story
French Basque Country, year 1609. The men of a small fishing village have gone to sea. Judge Rostegui, who has been charged by the king with ridding the country of the devil's wiles, arrests Ana and her friends and accuses them of witchcraft.
Summary
Five undergrad witches unite in secret, intent on invoking Ashura's ancient powers through a forbidden ritual. Led by ambitious and impulsive Elara, they believe success will cement their status as the most powerful coven in centuries. However, during the invocation, Elara's thirst for power proves fatal for one of their own, leaving four survivors and an incomplete ritual. Panicked, Elara sends them out to find a replacement witch while she absorbs Ashura's growing strength, intending to control it alone. Meanwhile, the surviving sisters bond over their shared grief and plot rebellion against Elara's tyranny. As they uncover evidence of her manipulations, the campus begins to unravel under Ashura's possessed influence. With only one young witch left standing, she must rally what remains of their sisterhood to vanquish Elara and bind Ashura once more.
